Why study in KNU?
Kunsan National University (KNU) adalah universitas nasional yang berlokasi di Miryong-dong, Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do, di bagian barat Korea Selatan. Universitas pertama kali dibuka pada tahun 1947 sebagai Kunsan Teachers' College. Itu memperoleh status universitas pada tahun 1991.
Memasuki revolusi industri ke-4, KNU mengalami perkembangan dan perubahan yang sangat cepat di dalam sejarah manusia, dan sedang mengalami fenomena sosial dimana angka pelajar yang semakin berkurang akibat tingkat kelahiran yang rendah. KNU mencoba menghadapi tantangan ini dengan terus beradaptasi terhadap perubahan di lingkungan.
Dalam menghadapi revolusi industri dan beberapa fenomena sosial ini, KNU memperlebar sayapnya hingga saat ini KNU menawarkan banyak departemen dan ragam kurikulum dan program lainnya. Dengan sistem administrasi yang fleksibel, KNU membuat penelitian dan pendidikan menjadi seimbang seiring dengan semakin tingginya suatu pendidikan namun tetapi melindungi ilmu dasar dari ilmu tersebut.
KNU akan selalu menyambut hangat dan mendukung semua pelajar yang datang dan KNU juga akan selalu berkembang dan membantu perkembangan komunitas lokal maupun internasional dengan motto “notable change”.

Fun fact
- KNU dulu dikenal dengan Kunsan Teachers College di tahun 1947. Akhirnya KNU mendapatkan status sebagai universitas sejak tahun 1991.
